Your opinion on exploiting bugs/glitches
Your opinion on exploiting bugs/glitches
Following on from Sir_greyhawk's excellent poll asking people if they use cheats, I was wondering how many people make use of the various bugs and glitches in the game, and how many are purists?
To clarify, by using a bug or a glitch I mean performing an action or conversation repeatedly, simply in order to repeatedly get the XP, Influence or Stats bonuses that it produces.

First of all, Thanks
.
Secondly, I voted no because for one, I dont know any glitches besides that hisshiss one, and secondly I'd rather just use proper cheats anyway, people may say its better because it sort of legitamate, but it isnt, it just takes longer.
Exploiting bugs is part of any RPG, to a point. As far as Kotor 2 goes, I use the infinate alignment bug on Koriban to restore my light mastery after getting INF with GOTO and HK-47.
Hmm. I don't think I've ever heard of that one? It doesn't seem to be in the gamebanshee guide...

Its in the cave on Korriban. When you meet the illusion of Kreia, stand with her against the others saying it is so she can be redeemed later. As long as she survives the fight you fail the test, but get ls points. As far as I know you can keep doing it until someone kills her.

When all else fails, try brute force.
Hmmm. I had always thought that the kind of points you got if you failed the test(s) in the cave were opposite to your own alignment, so if you were LS you'd get DS points here?
If you are beaten in combat, then you get ds points. The only way to pass this test is for Kreia to die. So as long as you and her survive the battle, you don't get ds points and the test is repeated.
