Rendering problem? Missing pieces.

Post by ashtaroth »

As i was performing the task given in the Recommendation mission in the hall of mages in skingrad in the cave located south-west of skingrad, i found, to my irritation, large voids in the cave-system. I ignored this however and thought of it as a mere bug which would soon be fixed in a future patch-release. However, the problem did not cease to be, for i soon discovered that there were missing pieces in several places, several ruins and in skingrad castle for example. This does not seem to be a problem that came with the game itself as i have never noticed these voids before, please assist me if possible.
(Fx: simply, walls or floor seems missing which enables you to go strait through it, much like suddenly falling out of the map.)

I will post pictures if necessary if someone were to instruct me of how to enable screenshots.

How to enable screenshots: you need to find Oblivion.ini, it is not, however, contained in your install folder. It is in My Documents>My Games>Oblivion.

Open Oblivion.ini with notepad, find "bAllowScreenShot=0" and change it to "bAllowScreenShot=1"

Pressing print screen ingame will then create a bitmap in your installation directory.

Please don't post screens. The site owner doesn't want them. You can post links to screens, however.
