A little help with a door (spoiler)

I'm doing the main-quest where you have to gather the 3rd item for the ritual. You have to get it from the ruins of the city, the one with all the glowing crystals. In the first part i've run into a door, wich sais: "this door opens remotely". I've looked through the entire part of the ruins, looking for a lever, a hidden switch or some sort of ritual that needs to be performed. All i've found is some sort of push button, but that did not open the door. Anyone has any idea where to go?
