Damge areas

Post by mr.goalieman »

Who thinks it would be more coller and realistick if that on oblivion u had damge areas. Like u hit someone in the haed with a bolt or arrow it would do more damage than hiting them somewhere else.So far i heard that hitting them in the finger tips does just as much damge as hitting them in the head.No specific damage areas.

No locational damage in Oblivion. And if there is, it's only with bows. I've heard conflicting reports.

First of all no bolts :( :( but I think if you hit someone in the head with an arrow it will kill it.

Don't see the need exactly. It would be a nice feature, especially in the stealth game aspect, but this is a roleplaying game and it can't be the perfect in all ways. A feature more necessary in something like a tactical shooter.

1. No crossbows=no bolts

2. No location damage for melee or ranged.

It would be cool if you could light the end of your arrow on fire, and it would set the guy you hit on fire.

I think u can set arrows on fire.In morrowind there were flaming arrows. And i read in a review that u can poison a sword with a potion. So u can probably st arrows on fire.
