Hi!
I just started playing this game for the first time last week- after going through some amount of trouble getting it to work on my Windows XP-running PC, everything went smooooothly until today. I was fighting a mage on the 3rd floor of the Tenement of Thugs when both Annah and Dak'kon died! The Nameless Run and Morte were running low on HP too so I ran down the stairs and healed them. But when I came back up, Annah and Dak'kon's bodies were gone! I killed the mage and the other thugs in the room- the mage's body is still there but the other thugs bodies disappeared as well (not that I really care about them). I tried going to the Mortuary thinking my companions dead bodies might be there but no luck...
Is there a solution to this or will I just have to load from an old save? Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to save over and old save. So if there's really no way to get those 2 back, I might have to start the game over... :-(
My dead party members disappeared!
Oo-err... I just figured out how to raise them back from the dead and boy do I feel embarrassed. Just had to click on their portraits... But still, what a relief.
On a related note, this game is fast becoming my favourite RPG ever.
It's rather sad that nobody ever made another Planescape game. Seems like the most creative and full-of-potential D&D setting by far (speaking as someone who was never really into D&D tho).

Interplay did have the same Black Isle development team at work on a successor, but pulled them off the project to work on TORN--and then in turn, killed TORN. When some people on the team groused over this, they were fired, and those happened to be most of the team leaders and strongest talent BI possessed.
At least, that's what some of the BI development team were saying. I'm sure Interplay management had their own line.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
