I have installed Neverwinter Nights Gold and then Kingmaker. Everything went fine until I went to play the modules. I opened Neverwinter Nights menu to start playing the game. I clicked on Play: the screen came up showing the 800x600, etc. I clicked on OK. Then I got a message that said "Neverwinter Nights has encountered a problem and needs to close. I sent the Error Message to Microsoft then looked at the error details which said that the following would be sent in the error message: C:\DOCUME`1\default\LOCALS`1\Temp\8c37_appcompat.txt. By the way, I have already played Neverwinter Nights Gold (Neverwinter Nights, Shadows of Undrentide, and Hordes of the Underdark) with no problems quite awhile ago. I played the game using Windows ME. Now I have installed Windows XP on my computer. All of the other games that I have played so far using XP have been working beautifully. Can you tell me what kind of a problem I am having now after installing the full game and then installing Kingmaker? I am not very computer literate when comes to solving problems so I need all the help I can get with the technical stuff. I have plenty of memory and plenty of memory left so that can't be it. Please help!
