help with prestige

Post by SupaLee »

First post-- I've beat the whole game as a guardian and i really wanted to become a weapon master! the game never gave me the opportunity to become one or any prestige class for that matter. whats up? Also i played both sides of the force so i had to wait until the very end of the game to get my alignment strong enough to enter the cave on Korriban? could that be my problem?

You have to talk to Keira(the old woman) alot. I think it is around 10 - 15 levels that she will tell you about the other classes. BUT YOU HAVE TO TALK TO HER!!!
According too your aligment she will say what you can be.... So if your evil---sith good---jedi

I've been talking to Kreia the whole game, but when i beat the cave all she would say is I have to go find the Jedi. I think its because ive gone too far in the game, i'm at the point where we supposed to go to onderon to meet the masters. If you know a way to get her to say more please tell

Once you hit level 14 or 15, go talk to Kreia immediately. I usually save the cave on Korriban for last. Once you hit this level (my memory is rusty as to whether it's 14 or 15), Kreia will commence the dialogue so you can advance to a new class.

I haven't ever tested this myself, but many walkthroughs say that you have to have a fairly strong alignment one way or the other to become a prestige class.

Level 15, with a significant alignment change - i.e. Light OR Dark - not somewhere in the middle...

After that, you will get a lecture on skills...

If she refuses to speak with you about it, perhaps you should try asking her if she could teach you more, in the dialouge options. :)

Like greg said, at least 75% light or dark, and level 15, this could be the only conversation in the game you ahve with her if you want to, she says "ahh did you feell it?" and then ti commences, the cave on Korriban has nothign to do with prestige classes, i went in there as a sith lord my last game.

thanks for the info, i think all of you are right but i missed my chance. i tried to keep my alignment in the middle so force powers on both sides were cheap, but i waited so long to try to get a prestige class,... i.e. when i'm about to lose Kreia in the battle with the masters on Dantoonie, the only dialogue she will talk about is eliminating them on Dantoonie

thanx for all the tips
----time to play again :p

I've never noticed my dark/light side alignment affecting it, since whenever I play at that point i'm strongly aligned one way or the other. Which makes no sense...there should also be a "window" if your alignment is hovering around neutral...for the "grey" jedi character.
