Can't Summon Familiar

I'm playing HOTU right now. Here's my characters basic stuff:

Fighter Level 12
Champion of Torm Level 5
Wizard Level 4

STR - 23
DEX - 18
CON - 20
INT - 22
WIS - 10
CHR - 14

The above stats are with buffs.

I'm wearing Padded Armor, which only gives me a 5% Arcane spell failure, and I've tried unequipping my weapons, and other stuff.

I have tried to summon my Wizard familiar by using the Special Abilities radial menu, but its always greyed out. Why is this?
