Problem With Torrin Quarry

When i went to do the fix altar quest the stone was missing from torrin quarry, and i have no idea what to do. i think I ended up puttig somthing down ontop of the stone, turning it into a junk pile, almost toward the begining of the game, so now i can't do the ancient gods quest, and iam very sad any ideas?

How far in the game are you?I advise that you should start again.Or just don´t think about the ancient gods much,pick your favorite one.Who wants to be all-powerful anyway?

Why not just click on the junk pile and transfer the stone to your inventory? Make sure you have enough room in your inventory before.
