Problem in Curst Underground

Hi there. I´m playing through PT for the first time and encountered a problem.

When I was in Outer Curst, instead of going next to Inner Curst, I went straight through the "secret" passage to Curst Underground via the trash warrens. Now I´ve cleared out both Curst Underground and Curst Prison, but to free Trias the Deva I seem to have to finish some quests in the city above first. I know that on the right side of the Curst Underground screen there should be an exit back up to Outer Curst. But the exit doesn´t work!

I´ve already downloaded the 1.1 patch but that didn´t work. Could somebody please help me?

To free trias you should only need to recover his blade from the centre of the prison and shatter his chains with it, talk to the fat ugly guy in the prison to get the blade
