About mayors and chiefs. I read somewhere that if you marry the daughters of the mayors/chiefs then kill the mayor/chief you inherit the area and become mayor. Does this only work on X-box or can you do this on PC also.
If you can do this, does it count for the "ball and chain" demon door? It says I have to be married to someone with a title and I chose not to marry grey so am I screwed on getting in this door now?

Ya, only way to open that door is to marry LG... although the only thing you get is Rynox (sp?) the axe and you'll come across much better weapons.

Yea thanks everyone but yea I read somewhere to that if you marry the mayors daughter then killed the oldest males you become mayor but so far I havn't found any besides Knothole Glade and Bowerstone. I tried it with Knothole glade but the chief just walks out so I couldn't find his house like i intended, and I know bowerstone u can become mayor when u expose lady grey in Fable:TLC which ima get. So yea then my questions still out there so someone please help cause I realy want to rule the whole frigging world.
If you want to "rule the world" that bad the best, most time comsuming way would be to try to marry every girl in town (marrying each then killing or divorcing them). I would guess the one who gives the highest dowery is the mayors daughter. Either that or the guy you got that information from was lying. Also I've spent many a day trying to beat down the knotehole glade mayor, you can do ten damage to him multiple times, but he just won't die
