I can't enter the Never Tombs from the Great Cemetery (Spoilers)

Anybody knows why I can't enter the Never Tombs from the Great Cemetery ??? I got the note from the chest near the door, but the door still not opens. Should I do something the note in order to open the door ?
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp please !!!

You have to put one of the items from the Peninsula tomb into the chest. You did go there, right?

Each of the tombs have a chest next to a door with a note that has a clue as to which of the ceremonial items go into the chest. So 'a splinter in flight' refers to the Ceremonial Arrow.

If you don't have the Ceremonial items, first finish the Beggar's Nest area then go back to the Peninsula tomb to get them, If you go earlier you'll have a longer journey.

Have Shield, How do I get it into the box?

Haven't figured out how to place the shield in the box.
Any help?

Click on the box. It should open like any other 'treasure' box you find. You can drag items from your inventory into boxes. Just drag the shield into the inventory of the box and let go.
