What Happened to IRONMAN?

Post by Mulligan »

I'm just wondering, what happened to the IRONMAN level... this were designed to be the ultimate D&D ver. 3.5 play, but i don't see any revelant info about it...

I know it's though, but come on...Should'nt we have at least have some thing to share about this??..

I failed my first try, cause my party died in the fire node, and i didn't want to go back 10 hours of realtime.

I read from Co8 about max-lvl-HP-hacks-, are they for ironman too ?

Is there any use starting Iron, or is it more bugged than the normal game ? The option of 'NOT' relooading does not welcome trouble bugss...

Just checking, ....

have party right noe with sorcerer lvl3bncon +1 has more hp's than cleric lvl3 con +3...Rebegin/resrart??

Hmm, never quite got the hang of Ironman...

I think ironman is played by a few, but most seem to avoid it because there are still too many random crashes that can mess you up, even with the best patches. With the ability to save all the time, these few crashes aren't an issue, but without they cause too much trouble. Anyway, you can force yourself to save only in certain places if you have enough willpower. :)

This mode doesn't have any bonus items does it?

If not I don't really see the point of playing it.

No, I think it's just so you can feel all cool for playing a man's game or something.

Or realy get to whack the AI with a pure, random Strength party, and maybee a lot of tohose 'not-so-useful' Npc's will find a use after all...

Well, given my posting name, of course I tried this game in Iron Man mode. After sixteen dead parties, I gave up on Iron Man mode so I could actually finish the game. Once I've beat the game a few times with the Liv mod in effect, I will give it a serious try in Iron Man mode.
