ID & duration

Post by TIARRON »

Hi, sometimes I cannot use some arms because the duration expired. I should repair them with a skill, but... how? There are some others that I cannot use because I need to get a higher ID level, what's that? how can I increase my ID level? Thanks a lot.

If by "duration expired" you mean they're broken, then no, you can't repair broken weapons. You have to use your repair skill before they break. It's been a while since I played, but you might try bringing broken weapons to blacksmith's.

As for increasing the repair and ID, they increase the same as any other skills. You allocate points, off the skills menu.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

With damaged items, I think there is a level of damage. If you had a point in Repair, an item would need to be almost broken before your character can repair it. Improving the skill should allow you to repair it earlier. I think the damaged item should say what level of Repair is needed to fix it, so if it said level 3 required, you would need to have 3 points in repair.

Otherwise, as fable said, take the item to a blacksmith or most merchants who will repair it for a cost dependent on the amount of damage.
