was the Toolset updated in 1.66?

cuz I tried to learn more about what to do by renaming the .nwm file to .mod , but the toolset says that the module was from an updated game. it plays okay but toolset cannot edit it. I just wanted look around and stuff. see if maybe I may have missed something good.
