Killing wild dogs

Hi,

sorry my first post is for help and even more embrassingly for such a simple part of the game.

I decided to start playing fallout 2 after years of neglect and i am in Modoc where you have to kill the wild dogs hunting the brahmin. I've killed them all apart from one who is 'almost dead' and ran away i've been looking for it for ages but cant find it anywhere. I know there is still one left as when i left to go see the guy to get my reward he said i failed plus i can hear a dog growling. i think it might actually be out of the screen if you know what i mean and its really pissin me off| so if anyone could give some tips that would be great.

try ending the combat and stand next to the fire, he might come back...

If that doesnt work, then you maybe some of your party members can reach it, cos it probaly ran out of the map. Else, load
