Well I finished the game. When i went to kill volgar, he was talking to a greater demon. The Demon ends up killing Volgar for you then you have to kill him. Here's what u need to do, this is very important! Pick up all the relics that volgar drops hit the "E" button then make sire u equip Ellowyn's Ring. You will die multiple times if you do not do this. The Demons Stun attack is brutal! Next thing you need to do is go near Galdryn. Yes he's not dead, but frozen in a sphere of ice. Use the very first relic you found, The Horn. Galdryns ice cage will break and he will help you kill the demon. I found it very useful to have the demon attack him instead of me when I moved away to heal.
