The Cyan crystal...

Post by Superdude »

...has anyone else had trouble with it? I've noticed that, when I have that as my lightsaber color, the blade tends to stay extended when moving between screens.

And, just yesterday, I bought the Cyan crystal from Samhan on Telos. When it was time to make my lightsaber, it would ask what color I wanted to use. When I selected Cyan (the only color crystal I had), it kicked me out of the conversation. I had to go back to Geeda to buy a yellow crystal, then change it at a workbench.

Is this problem also on the PC version? I'm using the Xbox. Anyone else had this problem?

I believe this is just a bug. Supposedly, you can only create your lightsaber with one of the colour crystals you can talk to Atton about when you say what colour it used to be.

Cyan is a color that you can choose to tell atton, but that has nothing to do with it, when you tell atton about your lightsaber, it just tells the game wich kind of lightsaber atris is weilding inthe first cut scene.

I've had that problem, too. I just ignite the lightsaber and let it close down, that way it doesn't look like it's always on.

I've had the problem with it staying extended, but it's a smal price to pay.

Yeah, it's a small price to pay, unless you get THAT crystal first, and try to build a saber. Then you have to find ANOTHER crystal, build it with that, then go to a workbench (or T3).

The reason is Obsidian were very lazy with the cyan and bronze crystals. I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but they are simply the Mantle of the Force and Heart of Guardian crystals from KotOR I without the stat enhancements. Bugs and all! This exact same thing happened in KotOR I, with the MotF crystal, and maybe the HoG. If you look at their miniature pictures on the equipment screens you will see what I mean!
