Sorcerer Questions

I Just have a few questions conserning sorceres as I want to solo one of these badboys...
What is the highest level I can optain ? It seems to me that I could *only* reach 17 - but wouldn't that mean I never get to cast lvl9 spls ??
IS there any reason a sorcerer should have high Int or Wis (save for the Limited Wish thing) ? Seems to me that there are no real benefits...

yes they can only get to level 17. no they cant cast level 9 spells. as for the int. thing, im not sure.

hmmm.. can regular mages cast lvl9 spells ??

no. the only real difference between socerers and mages is the way they learn spells. i tend to prefer mages myself.

You definetly want 18 int not so sure about thw wisdom

i find sorcerers alot less of a headache then memorizing all that junk and having to get scrolls
