Thieves' Guild/Thief(rogue?) secondary class?

Post by Harami »

I can't find any thieves' guild or anything of that sort. I've talked to the mage Aleister and he offered to let me join the mages, and the armor seller offered to let me join the fighters - same with the celestial order in the temple - but I can't find any thieves guild.

Is it the guy who needs a password? I'm guessing it is, but I can't find the password anywhere. I've currently gotten to the point where I have found the dead wizard's horn and taken it to the lord.

Where can I find the thieves guild/password?

You need to bail a guy out of jail to get the password. Wait for the jailkeeper to open the door, and then sneak in behind him to visit the cells.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

When does the jailkeeper open the door? I've been in there multiple times and nothing has ever happened, and I can't even really talk to the guy.

I've found that the jailer opens the door every 1 or 2 minutes. Sometimes he's even beyond it when I enter. It really shouldn't take too long to get in there.

Consider seriously whether or not you want to join this guild. The skill "Scout" is not working, or at least doesn't help with mapping at this time. I don't think it even appears as an option. The learning bonuses are unimportant also. So, check out the other class options before you invest here.

If you do want this class, speak with Delilah in the "Curio Shop" in the Slum Quarter. While you're there, make sure to take out any witches you find. They often drop spell books :)
