Nalia's quest gave me only 650gp!

I have just cleared Nalia's Castle for the 3rd time. Previously, I always got more than 10,000gp after this, but this time I only got 650. I played as dual classed fighter/mage. There are 2 reason I can think of: This time, I played without Nalia (with Jan instead), and finished Volygar's quest first to have the mage stronghold. Is there anyone who has answer?

Need Nalia in your party for the large amount of cash im pretty sure

did you accept the keep as your stronghold ?

ive done that quest 2 times without Nalia and still got 10,000gp.

I did accept the stronhold. Then, it could be just timing. Because I wanted to get the mage stronghold, I did Umar Hill and the Planar Sphere before going to the Keep.
