Knights of the Dinner Table
Does anyone ever read the Knights of the Dinner table strip? I used to read it in the mid 90's when it was in Dragon magazine. I had forgotten about it until recently, but I remember thinking it was funny. There actually is a homepage, but I was just curious what everyone else thought of the strip?

I re-read some of the comics. When I saw them in Dragon magazine (back in the day... you know- last century
) I really like them. I thought that talking about a Hackmaster +10 sword and mages named Teflon Billy was funny.
I still like them, but it's not as fun as I remember. I didn't know if anyone else ever saw the comic...

I read through the comics, they were amusing.
However, they did a horrid job of organizing them so you can read the archives. I got fed up with having to click back 30 times just to see the comic I wanted and having to stop and come back and hit back 24 times the next day. They could do that in a better manner I think.

"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"
"So funny, kiss me funny boy!" / *Sprays mace* " I know, I know, bad for the ozone"

Amen to that! I hate that interface. I'm not sure how often the site is updated, or how much attention gets paid to it...

It's probably just one of those projects where one guy gets bored and plays with it and then if something comes up it's forgotten until there's nothing to do again. I have a few of those.

Yeah, don't we all! I think it is probably that the comic has lost steam in recent years- it was in Dragon in the mid 90's, and I think he stopped making new one by 2000 (before?). So, if it looks a little dated... well... it is! But since when have we BG-playing, 2nd edition types ever cared about "well worn" systems?

I know I don't. They're amusing because they are so far-fetched and so stereotypical all at the same time. I like it.

I know, they make me giggle- two dorks sitting around, trying to kill the biggest thing they can; the token female player who actually cares about roleplaying; the DM-bane, expert Player; the DM who constantly gets ripped off by paying $40 for a new suppliment... funny because it is true.

Mag: Don't remember much at all of last night do you?
Me: put simply.... No
Mag: From what I put together of your late night drunken ramblings? Vodka, 3 girls, and then we played tic-tac-toe and slapped each other around.

Well, the webstrips are samples of older strips, but the comic is still going. Issue #103 should be out in a few weeks.

Ohhh.... a Kenzerco insider in our very midst! How exciting!
Mark, is there a better website for the strips? I would primarily read the comics online, but as I'm sure you noticed, nobody here (at least none of the 3 or 4 of us who have replied) likes the interface. I like the strip, but the interface makes or breaks how often I like to come back...
