Spoilers! You have been warned.
I just finished the game (and it was awesome, despite the high-flown ending speech (lightside)), but I still gotta ask. So, my character was a female and a real goodie-goodie, 100% lightside. When I met Bastila in the Starforge, she was, as we all know, Malak's apprentice and now a bad guy. I tried to convince her of the darksides inferiority, but I couldn't get her back to lightside! So I HAD TO kill her, altough I didn't want to. I tried this a couple of times before I gave up on her.
So is it possible for me to get her back to lightside or is that for male characters only (romance)? How can I avoid killing her and get her back?
Bastila in the Starforge *SPOILERS*
yes, bastila can be saved as i have done it before. just gotta pick the right conversation options. there are a few threads already that have it last time i checked...
its also in the walkthrough too i think.... but yeah.

it works with female characters as well, seeing as how i only play with female characters and i saved her every single play-through.

As I recall, at one point you have to offer her (verbally) the option to kill you, saying that you won't kill her. This is rather mixed up logically, but it's supposed to indicate your belief that you trust her.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Hum, I gotta try it one more time and say these things this time. I also checked the walktrough, so I hope it'll go right this time.
SPOILER!
Even if you kill her, she still gives you and carth the award in the ending cinematic.
SPOILER:
As I said, I killed her but she wasn't there to award anyone. There was just the little Yoda-ish jedi and the other masters as well talking grand things but I got no awards. :/ Well, I gotta try it again, so we'll see. Thanks guys!
