Fallout 2 Patch XP Problem

Fallout 2 Latest Version

Hello.

I just purchased the Fallout1/2 bundled box set.
I see in the readme section that my fallout 2 is version 1.02.
Is this the most current version including the all important patch released to fix many of the bugs and problems?

No, 1.02 isn't the latest version. Don't start playing before you have patched the game. You should check No Mutants Allowed -site, http://www.nma-fallout.com . There should be almost every patch and all the information you need, including Children patch, which is needed for some country -versions of Fallouts

EDIT: Checked the site, patches can be found by moving mouse over the Community word, then clicking Download from list. The select the game, then patches and so on...
EDIT2: Okay, I was a bit wrong, the 1.02 version is latest OFFICIAL version, but there is fanmade versions 1.04 and 1.05, including several other fanmade patches. But you should still load those patches, they make the game more stable, fixes bugs and so on...
