Stuck in Curst Prison (Spoilers)

Post by Monolith »

Hey,

I'm stucked in the Curst Prison right now. I talked to the Deva and he told me to get his sword, alright. I killed all the guards in the prison except those behind that damn door in the west. I don't know if there are guards at all, because I can't get behind that door. It's locked. Now I could use Annah's marvelous lockpicking-skills, but well, it doesn't work. She walks towards the door and all she does is...nothing. She doesn't even say anything, no feedback at all! I tried it several times. So I took my Main-Char and tried crushing that bugging...obstacle, which he tried, but unfortunately he was unsuccessful. I talked to Annah then and asked her to teach me some thieving-skills, what she did but when I tried to pick the lock with my Main-Char the same thing happened. That's the door in the west through which you can get to the sword, according to the gb walkthrough.

Another thing that's quite weird is that whereever the cursor changes to a question mark no text appears after clicking on that spot - usually there's no problem with that.

I'm rather desperate now because I really got into this game...I used the search-function and found an exploit which allows one to free the Deva before actually getting the sword - but I don't want to use it before I'm not absolutely sure that there's another possibility. :(

For those who don't know which door I mean: it's marked with a thin white circle
I took the map used in the gb walkthrough. I hope you don't mind.

Alright, problem solved. After taking an older savegame and playing through the prison again I managed to open the door - a dialog popped up. Weird bugs.

Anyway, this thread can be closed and deleted. Thanks for your help, I really appreciated it ;) :p
