...this is probably a stupid question. I've gone through all three NWN games now and I'd like to play over the internet. I try the 'Multiplayer' option in the game panel, creating a user name. It gives me a long list of a) rooms and b) servers.
...so what else do I need? Do I have to hunt down the websites for these servers, acquire a password and/or username there, do I just randomly click on a server that isn't full, do I Connect or Direct Connect, and what difference does it make if I join a LAN party or an Internet Game?
Yes. I'm a complete newbie.
Help?

Multiplayer requirements
{ De Die Nocteque }
If I remember right:
then some servers do requier password, which is often the more persistant world-types of multiplayer. This is often gotten by registrering on their website.
Others don't.
I think it is written in the server description in the list if they do or not, although I can't quite remember.
As for connect and direct connect. Then direct connect is when you know the IP of the server, in which case you can often bypass browsing through the list for a server.
When I played multiplayer I played exclusive on Argyle Online and since I had its IP I didn't need to go through the list and could just type it into the connect.
At least that is how I recall it - it has been quite a while since I played in Multiplayer.
