DSL problem

Post by k1k355 »

'ello!
i have 2 problems.
1st:do u know any good, free or 'crackable' :) program that i could use for tracking my intrenet traffic.i mean dl. and ul. .i have bandwith monitor pro and its sucks!its filled with bugs(upload tracking etc) and its not very accurate.

2nd:now this is tricky-ever since i got dsl and im online,if i want to listen to any kind of audio(game or cd) on my comp. ,sound is a horror-scratchy,slowed,terribile! it seems like a connection is bothering the audio card or whateva' :) (by that i mean while im dl-ing or ul-ing).
im certain that is the problem so is it fixable???i really dont want to experiment on my comp...

and yes....
Merry christmas and happy new year to you and your families during next year!

Oh no

Don't ask about "crackable" software... A mod will probably be along pretty soon to say something, so you might just edit that out beforehand. It would qualify as breaking the forum rules. (I'm pretty sure)

To your question...

Firefox (my browser) has an extension that tests for connection speed...

Maybe you should read his post before jumping into "omg war3z b4nz0rz"...

There are several programs that can track your upload/download flow, if I'm feeling really nice I'll look it up in my stack of magazines. For now, try Google.

"Cracking" software would fall under software piracy because it is used to either stop shareware from nagging you or extending alotted usable timelimit.
If in disagreement, feel free to contact Buck Satan to clear it up.

Thus - I'm closing this thread.

Feel free to open another one with the legimitate parts of your questions as to connectionspeed testing et al.
