Post by khalan »

I'm stuck in the long death room because my puzzle ring won't let me polymorph, I've tried everything i can think of except throwing the stupid thing away. Now what do I do?

What does it say when you try to use the ring? Are you wearing the ring? Did you try resting first?

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

tried all.

I tried resting, tried with ring on and off, on both fingers. I can't get a menu to morph with, like with an invisibility ring you have to acess the circular menu . i even tried starting the level over, but you can't drop or sell the ring so i get stuck with 2 rings that don't work.

Did the ring stop working, or have you never gotten it to work?

My memory of the ring is that it has a single special power, and when you invoke it, it brings up a dialogue where you can select the form you want to take. If you don't see the special power on the ring's radial menu (from right clicking on it) then you could try dragging the ring onto one of your hotkey slots and invoking its power from there.

It's not the ring that your suposed to use. It's the sensi amulet that lets you morph. I think that's the part where you have to turn into a fairy, to use the lever but I'm not sure if I remember right.

Oops, that probably explains the confusion.
