act III challenge

can anyone help me? i have enough points in the contest in act III (23000 actually, next has about 15000) but i don`t get challenged by Kiya! with whom do i have to talk or what else do i have to do? if i talk to the keeper of ranks, nothing happens, just the usual answers.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Once you have enough points (and you have more than enough), Kiya should walk up to you and challenge you. I think it happens near the front gate of the temple.

I guess it's possible you've encountered a bug, but you might want to try the stairs to Kiya's crypt and see if they're unlocked now. Maybe she talked to you and you didn't realize who she was.

first: thanks for your reply.

i already checked it, but it didn't work, stairs are still closed. problem is, i just have quick saves and the last regular save is from the end of act one. so i still hope, there is another solution then playing it all again.

any other ideas?

Let's see... Is Kiya's name still listed in the contest? You made it sound like your name was highest on the list, but Kiya's should always be higher until you defeat her. If that's not the case then you've probably encountered a bug. If Kiya's is still higher, then you might want to try walking in and out of the temple a few times to see if you can trigger the challenge.

Also, is it possible to fight all the people in the temple? I seem to recall a dialgoue option that made it sound like yo could attack them, but I never tried it. Maybe there's a bloody way to get to the bishop.

Finally, you might want to try the forums at larian.com. Some of the people there know the inner workings of the game and, at worst, might have a saved game they could send you.

it seems i found a bug, because my name is the highest one on the list
also i walked in and out of the temple a couple of times and the fighting is just for the citizens, but i can't fight the temple guards or open the doors.
