Question about Ports

Post by restless »

I decided to ask this here since it's because of this game I need to do this.

To make it short, I have to open 200 ports and dont want to do it 1 by 1, I'm using xp and sp2, and opening ports by adding "exceptions" in the firewall.... I'd like to know if there is a faster way to do this, or a way to open a bunch of ports in one go, which doesnt seem to be possible here, i might be wrong though...

Help greatly appreciated :)

I'm going to move this down the Tech forum, because this definitely doesn't sound like a simple BG2 query. ;)

Ports

I just got Norton Internet Security 2005 and had to insert the DS ports again. What I found was that now the firewall program said I needed to open ports from 1000 to 2400. WOW!

So, I actually typed all 1400 ports into the firewall just to run DS, LOU, LOA online games but it was worth it. But I'll never reformat my HDD.
