The Key?

Well I must have missed something somewhere, because I've looked around and have noticed that the reason I can progress no further in the game is because I'm missing a certain handkerchief with someone's blood on it. Where and how do I get this?

I've taken a few months off from the game while right in the middle. It probably wasn't the best idea. Because getting back into it is a little slower than I'd like.

Well nevermind. I found it. I guess I was hasty to continue after getting Ecco's speach back and missed some crucial dialogue.

Well in trying to explore every area and be thurough like usual I went all the way through tto Baator without ever going to Inner Carst first. I figured I'd check out that hole in the dump thinking that when I did ger out I'd be somewhere in carst again. Oh well. I went back to look at the GB walkthrough to see if I missed anything, and I don't think I missed out on a whole lot. I did drop Morte for Vhailor though. I think he's a much better and cooler looking fighter. Having a walking talking set of mercykiller armour in your party is pretty bad ass. Well I've now been playing for more then my fair share of hours in one sitting, and remember why I took a hiatus from this game. It's like a good book, you just can't put it down.

Well it's only my first time around. Live and learn I guess. That extra exp could really come in handy now that I'm in Baator though.

And depending on how long I've progressed so far I might be inclined to go back to an old save if I have one. I think I just may do that and see how it goes.

I didn't mean to make you feel bad or anything like that, Skuld -- just wanted to let you know what was missed.
It is very difficult to not want to check out that dump immediately. I did the same.

Well all old saves had been saved over. My last one was as soon as I entered the tunnels under the dump. I've shed my tear, but now to move on.

Spoilers regarding how far you were through the game;
(You may regret starting over when you realise how close you were to the end, since you said you got to Baator.)

My first time, I did all the quests to get the key and wanted to check out what was under the dump before I left and went in and saved my game.
