guys i need help i have an ancient computer i think it was origionally a 95. it is a pentium 2 proccesser 4 speed disc drive and has a jaz a screwed up sound card no video card and it is basically garbage. still it plays the classics like harpoon and duke nukem. anyways when i start my computer it goes through about two minutes of showing me bad commmand files or such and such and it shows me no way to fix them. before it wasnt much of a problem bt now the computers getting really slow and glitchy it freezes often and if i try to fix something it breaks another thing. there are no computer places around here that i can afford and i cant get a new one my dad wont let me get one. is there any hope for it and is there any home repairs i can do!? HELP!!

Hi there don't know if this will help you but when i had the slow down, errors etc
on my old pentium 1 i would format the HD and start again (i still do this at least once a year with any system) of course back up anything you need..
it's not that hard to do,if you need anymore help you can pm me.

As suggested, I would also recommend simply formatting the harddrive first.

Remember to take backup of the data you dont' want to loose though.
