The "DSimpson" guide listed on this page is one of the best around, in my opinion: http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/game/22816.html

Thanks, but I'm not looking for an NPC guide or anything like that. I'm looking for the guide that comes with the game.

Dont think you can (or are allowed) to download it.
Isnt a manual copywrighted?

But why bother? There isnt much usefull info in the manual anyway.
And if you ahve questions about the rules, see the DnD site of gamebanshee, or just ask here (or in the Dnd forum)

I forget what the site was now, I think it was Gamespot, that had AWESOME pdf game guides. I think they still have them, but part of the subscription package. Have to check that. When they were free, I used to wonder how long it would be before they start charging, they were just to good to be free. Among the other nice features of course that in the VG marketplace actually have monetary value...

Gamespot has BGII game guide, but as I thought, part of subscription service. I've seen their game guides before, and they are very in depth and VERY nice.

No luck with BG1 though

If you've ever seen a GameSpot gaming guide before, you'd understand. FAQ's walkthroughs are as bland as plain oatmeal with too much water. A GameSpot guide is oatmeal with a rich creamy texture, brown sugar, syrup and some walnuts.

But seriously, they are pdf files to start which are real purdy (make great printouts), lots of pictures..hell, the guides are better than the original gaming manuals with all the ones I saw. I can only IMAGINE what the BGII guide looks like. Probably about 160+ pages, loads of pics, well organized....

Actually, let me see if they have some old guides that maybe aren't on the subscription service...
