HELP: TotL not working?!?

Hi, i am in Lonelywood, and i was in the inn, and i tried to talk to the halfling. Problem is, i cant. Whenever i click on him to talk (he is blue, not red BTW), the characters just freeze, and he doesnt seem to notice me coming to him. Am i supposed to complete certain parts of HOW first? I am currently working on the burial isle BTW

so, if i understand your problem correctly, there is no diolog when you talk to him? (just a thought) try moving right next to him before talking to him.

as for him being blue not red, are you talking about the circle around his feet? if you are, it is supposed to be blue.

and it doesn't matter where you are at in how.

when i click to talk to him, the character takes no action. Its like clicking to tell them to walk on a lake or wall. The halfling just stands there , he doesnt turn to face me, to show hes interested in talking

any i mentioned the feet-circle thing just to let people know i hadnt pissed them off, incase they were goign to suggest that may be the prob

well, the only thing i can think of is reinstall totlm and try again. if that don't work, then the version of totlm may not be 100% compatable with your version of the game. if neither one of them are correct then idk what to tell you
