The topic's been covered in great detail, several times before. Try searching under "Gesen" or "Tasheron," and then examine the threads that mention weapons, in particular. You'll also find useful discussions of some other excellent bows.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

IMO, the Gesen Bow is better, especially in the hands of a fighter. It's a +4 bow, whereas the Tansheron's is a +3. The Gesen bow also does more damage on average. On the other hand, the Tansheron's missiles travel faster, perhaps making it better suited to disrupting mages' spells.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
