i'm sick,i'm stuck and i'm going mad! (HotU Spoiler)

I’m stuck!!!
I’m in the HOTU chapter 2, found the mirror shreds: form the winged elf (the merchant), from the temple, and form the wizard tower. the parts I’m missing are at Sabal's hands(from the medusa -Sabal killed her, and the queen gave her mirror to Sabal) .Now, I know I’m suppose to fight Sabal for those mirror shreds in the castle ,but the only problem is that there's nobody there except the fool. I’ve return to the temple, the merchant, the wizard tower, and the library, there’s nothing to do there anymore. Where can I find Sabal? Where do I go form there? Do I go to the isle of the maker? And how do you kill those golems at the maker's and have them stay dead for good?!
and what do I do when my henchman dies?
A lot of questions I know, but the thing is that I’m home sick, down with the flu for a couple of days now and I got nothing else to do...

i've read that already , so i take it that i need to do it all over again ,and not letting the medusa be killed by Sabal? or do i go across the river and come back later? oh dear....
