I have played through NWN, SoU and HotU a few times and would like to start playing on the internet. When I try to connect it tells me that my CD key in invalid. I have bought 2 complete packages of the NWN trilogy because I wanted to network at home and also because I love this game so much. If some one could let me know what I am doing wrong that would be great. Also, any particular server I should join as a newbie would be nice to know.

Well, there are several possibilities... first, do you use any kind of modified .exe? I for my part have an original version of NWN, but regardless, I use a hacked exe so that I don't have to insert the playdisks because I'm lazy. If you play online, you have to restore the original, up-to-date .exe.
Second, do you have the Expansions (ShadowsOfUndrentide, HordesOfTheUnderdark) installed? If not, maybe you encountered a server who requires those two. And even if you have - do you have valid keys for both of them? If so, then maybe try some more servers and see if you find one that accepts you.
Third (and worst): I actually don't know wether or not NWN runs a central cdkey registry server. But if there is one, then someone else is illegally using your cd key. Maybe his keygen spat out your very key by pure coincidence - you wouldn't be the first to experience that.
