A little tiefling told me...

Alright, I'm near the end of chapter 2 in Hordes of the Underdark. I had just beaten Vix'thra, and was about to head back to the camp for the big seige battle. At that point, I checked my inventory and realized I was running low on healing potions. My oftentimes useless djinni seems to have stopped selling them, and there's no stores around that sell potions either. Also, due to lack of foresight, I did not place a binding within the camp, so that's out of the question. It was then that my good friend Valen mentioned how there was a path to the surface somewhere nearby (and by nearby, I mean close to the central area where it splits off to the ilithid, beholder, and undead neighborhoods). I'm particularly fond of the flail-wielding tiefling, so I'm hoping he's not just getting my hopes up. However, I've searched most of the area, but have not yet discovered this secret passage he referred to. Has anyone found such a place? If not, is there at least some kind of store around? Well no, there is no passage to the surface anywhere in the second chapter. The reason is a storytechnical one of course - if you could just walk out of the Underdark, then - Halasters geas or not - you'd have not much reason left to fight the Valsharess, especially in the case that you're an evil character.

As for stores... hmmm, there is one in the Illithid encampment and one in the slave city. Can't think of any others that are outside of the drow camp...
