Where did you get the mod. I'll download it an test it? Done

I found the mod at http://www.sierra.com and downloaded it ok.

Here is the readme that came with it. You should already have it:

1. Make a copy of your original arcanum.exe by renaming it to arcanum_1074_orig.exe

2. Extract the archive to your root install directory of Arcanum. That is the sierra folder

3. Then expanded xp_level.mes file is included in this archive. It's just a text file so if you don't like the level progression in this file it is easy enough to change.

What was left out the readme is where the files must go. If you installed the download into the sierra folder it would have install automatically but if you installed into a save folder like me do the following.

Copy the new arcanum.exe file into the arcanm folder using explorer.
Open a second explorer and select the sierra/arcanum/data folder.
Go back to your download folder and double click on the data data folder with the first explore.
Right click on the rules folder and select copy.
Using the second explore right click over the right panel of explore data folder. Select paste and rules and its contents will be in the right place.
With these steps done arcanum will run with the new upgrade.
The rules folder must be in the original arcanum/data folder or the game will crash.
Now check to be sure only one data folder is below sierra/arcanum amd below data there should not be another data folder.

I went back in arcanum to where I got to level 50 and then did a few sites I had skipped and got to level 51. I didn't look for a level accelerator known as a XP upgrade but I would like one because it took a long time to level up. I don't know if 127 is possible without adding moddels or maps to the game. But the author said we can change the xp rate if we want to and I think thats a good idea.

Are you sure your Arcanum was version 1074? If not down load the update.

Also your old arcanum.exe should have been renamed before copying the new arcanum into the arcanum folder. The new arcanum.exe is size 2291. The old one is 2317.

Level 127

I started at new game after deviding all level points by 10. I did this to see what effect it had. Leveling was much faster so I was at 25 before leaveing Shrouded Hills and the rest of the game was made tougher because I changed the difficulty to hard. But the fast leveling allowed me to get a base stats to 20 and maxing 4.5 schools of magic plus melee, dodge, throwing and bow. By game end I was at level 110. So the whole game was more fun and the greated problem was where to put the points.
