Weapon Specialization vs. Improved Critical

Post by Mirk »

I have an Elf Rogue X/Fighter X/Shadowdancer 2, going through the OC.

He's a melee-oriented char, going through most of encounters without henchmen. The general tactic involves shooting one or two arrows, then swithching to rapier+shortsword.

he has Weapon Finesse and Cleave already, and soon is going to come to level 12, when he's about to invest in some Rapier feats. the question is, what should he get first: focus+specialisation or improved critical?

your thoughts appriciated...

you must take all 3 of them. if you have nice AB (and i think you are becouse of smith),then you better take first Improved Criticals. of couse if you going to chapter/area with undeads or constructs (golems),then better Focus on weapon.

Critical since you got rapiers, but like Drakosha said, get all three.
