Windpear Hills Bug

Post by ijmorris »

 Help, I have a bug in my program which won't allow the Windspear hills to show up on my map. Is there a patch for it? Is there a workaround? I really want to create the Crom Faeyr, but have to get the key from Tazok that I read is in the Windspear Hills region.

It should have put it on your map when you finished talking to Firkraag. Anyway, if it's on your map but just grayed out, you have to exit through the City Gates in Athkatla to be able to move out of the city and start traveling there.
I saved Suldanesellar from destruction, and all I got was this stupid amulet.

Maybe I'm phrasing this wrong. When I got the acorns from the Dryads at the very beginning, and exited in the Promeade, it should have been on my world map, but it wasn't. I went to the city gates, and was leaving Athkatla, and it still wasn't there. I travelled to the Umar Hills, and it still wasn't there. Am I missing a step or something? Do I need to go somewhere first BEFORE I can get to the Windspear Hills? HELLLP!!

Windspear Hills only appear after you have talked to Lord Jierdan Firkraag, find him in the Copper Coronet in the Slums District.

Thanks, folks. I guess it was a bug from my original install before I re-formatted my hard drive. When I did it the first time I played, it showed up immediately after chapter 1 was complete, it was just always greyed out. Then, when chapter 3 began, it disappeared altogether. Then, during chapters 4 or 5 (I forget), something happened so that it returned to my map, but I still couldn't go there. I knew I must be missing something.
