I just got around to buying the game and started playing it... And after completing part of the main level finally deceided my party was strong enough to use the Key of the Dead. I used it and went in and got my parties butt kicked and left and healed and when I tried to go back the door was locked and said I needed the key???????? And since I already used the dang key I have no way of getting another one.
Can I "save" my characters the way they are now and restart the game with them somehow? I hate to have to completely redo the whole Main floor over again... I took forever for my characters to get to 3rd level where they have a chance of staying alive.
Help... Game messed up ...Key missing....
refer to my post...... you're screwed bud, sorry! it's a game glitch that hasn't been fixed in a patch. all that's there anyways is some low level mosters, and some low level treasure except in the ancient dwarven chest through the door of living. the key to this chest is in the door of the dead. sorry! My advice, would be to make your characters level 4 ( for your trouble of course) with a trainer of editor. and then restart the game with the mid level characters. you'll breeze trhough where you've already been, b/c you already know what's where. also, you'll get the treasure in the ancient dwarven chest(which is pretty good for a level 4 )
