I have heard that you can recruit Torien Kel in the Ancient Temple.
I have tried it a few times - even getting my NPC's to back off before going near the room where he is, however he attacks me first off each time and no dialogue option comes up.
Is it because I am good and he is evil?

Kel has negitive alignment so if anyone is too positive he may attack but if you can talk to him quickly before he attacks and accept the quest then he may join you. Be aware that Kel has negitive alignment and will not stay if you also get Raven to join so decide early if your going to pick up Raven and forget about Kel.
