Is there any utility that can fix saved game files?
I have reloaded the game 4 times with 2 seperate CD sets and it fails at the exact same point... just after I land on Dantoine... This is getting very frustrating... I also loaded the game fresh on my new work laptop, and it still failed at the same exact place. Simple deduction suggests that there is a problem witht he saved file, so do any of you know of a way to fix it?

I don't know the game but in Windows environment you must use an uninstall utility before re-installing. Just deleting through the windows setup utility will leave the protected files inplace and you must delete them after removing their protection. Its best to use the games own uninstall if one exists.
