I dunno if this is much of a spoiler since it isn't revealing any REAL information or anything..but I got into the 3rd chapter of HotU and now it is starting to feel a bit like Planescape: Torment. Not saying that is bad, actually I really liked that game, main reason I am thinking it is because I have been called a "prime" and a "berk" within 30 minutes of chapter 3!
HotU: "Planescape: Underdark" *Spoiler?*

Hehehe..Planescape actually has nothing to do with specifically space travel or any future stuff.
It deals with "the planes"..such as the nine layers of Baator, the chaos plane of Limbo, deals with "planetouched" races such as tieflings and aasimar, genasi, and all that stuff.
It is a setting that can pretty much connect any other D&D setting..because you can walk around on in Forgotten Realms, take a portal, end up in Sigil (main planescape city..like FR's waterdeep) which is full of portals and then stumble through another portal into the Greyhawk setting..or end up in the Eberron setting..or pretty much anything like that.
Angels and Devils battle out on the streets, Githzerai and Githyanki are constantly plotting against eachother. Everyone is scared of Illithids..and pretty much every race you can think of will end up in Sigil
