Hi
Yesterday, I finished P:T for the first time and with a minor disappointment. You see, experience was so scarce when having a 6 character party that I wasn't able to cast level 7,8 and 9 spells at all, not even after I merged with my other selves/incarnations. Should I go through P:T again and this time solo? If yes, how am I supposed to do this? Aren't some characters critical to end this game?
Thanks for any replies.
Soloing...
This is not about soloing, but you must have missed out on alot of xp someplace if you were not able to cast high lvl spells. When I played I was casting high lvl spells long before I got to the other incarnations. Try playing again with a party, and maybe look through some walkthroughs that have character interaction(which net you some awesome xp) and all sidequests, and you should be able to get to those high lvls required to cast lvl 7, 8, 9 spells.
I did. The only dialog option I had after examining it was to put the sphere away.
That means you didn't absorb the Good Incarnation "in the special way." It's a big part of the ending. You need an INT of 17 when talking to him and try to exhaust all dialog options.
In which case, you probably didn't learn of it from your practical incarnation.
The Practical Incarnation has nothing to do with it. You can use the sphere without even talking to him (not counting the automatic dialog that happens when you first wake up there, of course). It's the dialog with the Good Incarnation that determines it.
