Whats with all these gems?

Post by corsair »

Im in chapter 2 right now and I have a magic bag full of gems. I know that items can be made with certain stuff, but I really dont care about that. Is there anything I need them for or can I just go buck wild and sell away? Im gettin tired of picking up useless quartz gems. I have like 20.
John 3:16-17
16-For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, so that anyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
17-Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Well I haven't played the Single Player Campaign in a long time, but if I remember correctly there was a pool that if you sold something important you would be able to retrieve it from that pool. so you can go ahead and sell the gems if any of them are that important they will be in that pool where you can easily get them back.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Just sell them.

There are very few "gems" that are related to plots, and if they are they are tagged as "Plot items" and thus can't be sold.

And yes, if you manage to misplace a plot-item, many of them can be recovered using the "Divine Pool" near the place you teleport in with your Stone of Recall.
However, the "gems" needed for item crafting isn't labeld as Plot items, so you can easily sell them, and then have to buy them back. But it is only a limited amount of actual gems that are used in that manner.

Don't sell the, unless you need the money. When you die you lose gold, but not items. It's also nice to have a large collection of gems. Consider gems as some sort of insurance.
