Bodhi or Aran Linvail?
Bodhi or Aran Linvail?
I have posted several nonsenses about Bodhi in the past: a) "you cannot get Edwin" and b) "you cannot get the Mace of Disruption +2". Errata:
1. You can get Edwin. The only thing you must watch is the order of events. Complete the Mae'Var's quest first then talk with Bodhi. Bodhi can wait (Aran Linvail can wait, too). You needn't haste after collecting 15000 gp. Note 1: make sure that you still have 15000 gold when you go to Graveyard. Note 2: you also get all the stuff from the Mae'Var's quest.
2. You do not lose Mace of Disruption +2 when you decide for Bodhi. The Mace of Disruption +1 is still in the pool. Also, Katana +2 and the Ashen Scales are in their proper places. Simply go and take.
In the other words, working with Bodhi is much more advantageous than working with Aran Linvail:
a) working with Bodhi has no consequences as far as your alignment or reputation is concerned.
b) you do not lose anything "Aran's" when working with Bodhi.
c) you get more: Rifthome Axe +3 (another +3 ranged weapon), Ring of Lockpicking, Ring of Djinni Summoning, another Katana +2, and Elven Chain +1.
d) you make night streets of Akathla safe.
The question "Aran or Bodhi?" seems to be solved: BODHI!

i GOT IT IN SHADOW THIEVES' GUILD BUT CAN'T RECALL WERE BUT IT DOSN'T REALLY MATTER BECAUSE IT IS NOT ALL THAT GOOD. ONCE HE DIES FIGHTING FOR YOU THE RING WILL DISAPEAR. IF HE TURNS ON YOU AND YOU KILL HIM HE WILL ALSO DISAPEAR AND YOU CANT USE HIM FOR GUNFOOD.

Thanks...I have never join with Bodhi and didn't know.Originally posted by rapier:
The ring and the katana are in a box in Aran Linvail's room, just left of the door. There IS one drawback if you work for Bodhi! You can't recrute Shadowthieves in Chap 6 for the fight against Bodhi...

Yeah, you can, these two itens are with aran , and you will get them on aran's bodyOriginally posted by Hazim ibn Gorion:
What about the Amulet of Power and the Ring of Protection +2 that Aran gives you. Can you still get them if you work for Bodhi?

the only disavantage in working for bodhi is that you can't get the help from shadow thieves on chap 6.
