what are the effects of the bard song?

Post by Quest Master »

I'm sorry for such a brainless question, but I have looked in my manuals and searched this board. I figure I've missed it, but I really have invested some time searching.

Perhaps someone could tell me the exact benefit of the standard bard song? Is it the same in I and II?

I have found the skald and jester song effects, but I"m just interested in the standard song.

Thanks for your time,
Questor

It is supposed to act as a luck spell but I am not sure that it actually does.

Honestly, I don't see any result at all. I'm playing a bard right now, and it seems to be a waste of his time. Does any one find the bard song (plain old standard bard song) useful?

the bard song is a great source of hours of entertainment for the party in their down time from killing things.
