Bow expert not working?

HI,

I am playing a bow character....and I notice that after I gain the expert status in my bow skill, my character still fires 1 arrow at once. The manual says you MAY fire two arrows at once.....so how do I enable that option? Or did I misread the definition of expert bow man?

I'm having this same exact problem, and I thought I was finally going to find the answer when I found this thread, but then I saw that even after several months nobody bothered to reply to this thread. This is ridiculous. Surely we're not the only two people to ever have this problem. Does nobody ever use freaking bows in this game for crying out loud?

Page 29 in the guide does say that expert bowmen will fire two arrow at once. Raven is an expert and she fires only one arrow but very fast. I think the programmers took this feature out for some reason.

How are you telling the number of arrows fired? By the animation or by the arrow ammunition count? I was never very observant of Raven's ammunition supply and never bothered with the bow skill myself but I do recall that many guns list higher bullet usage to account for their increased damage. Is it possible your arrows are being used up 2 at a time and each blow does more damage?

Both. The animation clearly shows only one arrow being fired, and each time I fire, only one arrow is subtracted from my supply. I certainly don't notice any extra damage. It takes multiple shots to take down most enemies, and I don't remember doing less damage prior to receiving expert training.
